2022 Wrap Up!

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

Who else can't quite believe that 2022 has already been and gone? Either way it has been a great year here at Dani Heggie Music Lessons! First of all it has been the first full year back with in person lessons since the lockdown and thanks to new students signing up and working hard, alongside old students continuing to attend lessons and also work hard, things are near enough back to where they were pre-pandemic! The continuation of online lessons was not something I expected but it gave rise to what I fondly call Skype Sundays where I still get teach a group of great students, while all of us can enjoy the comforts of home!

2022 also saw a bit of a re-brand, with a brilliant new logo (and variations) courtesy of the very talented Suzi Hood of Design by Midnight!

Alongside the new logos, I also received finished and edited photos from Corinne Ferdinand at Everlong Photography which allowed for a full visual upgrade across the website and social media! I can't thank Corinne and Suzi enough for the visual life they brought to Dani Heggie Music Lessons!

Speaking of social media, 2022 saw the start of the Dani Heggie Music Lessons Instagram as well as the very blog you are reading right now! This year I really wanted to do more to connect with people, hence my decision to write blogs to update people on the business as well as sharing my musical views! On social media, I have had fun with certain posts such as the guitar family photo series as well as the Tune of the Week being shared on my stories!

2023 has a lot in store already, some things already locked in and others being in development but I am very excited to share each of these projects and events as and when they are ready to go!

So, lastly I would just like to thank everyone who made this year so special! As previously mentioned, Corinne at Everlong Photography and Suzi at Design by Midnight brought a great deal of visual strength, Lewis and Adam at Abbey Music have been nothing but helpful and supportive in my first full year of teaching there and most importantly, each and every one of my students and their family's who have entrusted me with their/their children's musical education, none of this would be possible without you and I am forever grateful!

With all of that said, here's to 2023! I wish you all a very Happy New Year. Play loud, stay safe and I will see you all very soon!
