I have many fond memories of this song blasting every Christmas morning, the sheer level of joy the song holds in its performance is what makes it an absolute classic in my eyes!

Tongue in cheek and full of great melodic hooks, this one is probably my favourite of the bunch! What I have come to take away from this song, the best part of Christmas is the joy of spending time with loved ones and I couldn't agree more. "Why don't you give your love for Christmas?"

This one speaks for itself, high energy, a powerful vocal performance and more melodic hooks than you can count - more than I can count at least! Full of festive cheer and echoes the sentiments of the previous song, time with your loved ones is the best gift of all!
The Darkness - Christmas Time
One of the latest great Christmas songs as nothing since has captured that festive feeling like this song, plus, it is full of riffs and solos, want more could you want?
The Greedies - A Merry Jingle
I only found out about this song in the past few weeks when a student of mine showed me it. What do you get when you take Thin Lizzy and Sex Pistols members and put them in a room together? You get a great Christmas song as it turns out!

What is Christmas time without our favourite Christmas movies? For me, my absolute favourite is The Nightmare Before Christmas, featuring the otherworldly music of composer and song writer Danny Elfman, with this joyous song being right at the top of many a Christmas playlist!
John Lennon and Yoko Ono - Happy Xmas (War Is Over)
This has been on repeat for me this festive season, the beautiful guitar chords coupled with a message of hope and unity is a song that really stands the test of time!
Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock
Taking us back a bit now for a 1950's rock'n'roll Christmas classic. Something about this era of music really gets me in a great mood, couple that with a song about a fun and happy time of year and a Christmas song for the ages is born!

Now for one that gets everyone dancing! Much like Mariah, this one keeps the energy high and the fun even higher!
Paul Williams & Miles Goodman - It Feels Like Christmas
Last but not least we have another Christmas movie song that fills everyone with joy, just like the lyrics intended. The Muppets are beloved across the world and with good reason and song's like this that make their way right into your heart are exactly why!
